Small-batch beef and nutrient-dense pastured eggs from the wide-open spaces of Nebraska.

If you believe in building strong families and supporting sustainable agriculture, you’ve come to the right place. We proudly offer locally-grown, grain-finished beef and pastured eggs—raised with care, integrity, and a commitment to quality. Using intensive rotational grazing and regenerative practices, we work to leave our land better than we found it—for our children, our community, and generations to come.

Our Heritage

This little slice of Nebraksa heaven has been home since 1999.  Our families have been in the farming & ranching business for generations and we both grew up within 15 miles from the homestead.

Our farm is part of the heritage we'll leave for our children. We want its land to be better than we found it and that's why we are very intentional with the ranching methods we use.

In 2015, we started our journey into regenerative agriculture using intensive rotational grazing and multispecies grazing.  Cows are moved from paddock to paddock daily and are kept company by laying hens in moveable chicken huts.  Stock rates and the emergence of new grass and forbs has been remarkably increased.

Small Batch Beef

We finish out in small batches. No feedlot beef here and each animal receives the highest care.  We also don’t give our cattle hormones or feed them antibiotics to make them grow. They get the time they need to beef up naturally {pun intended}.

Born, raised, & finished on our farm in southwest Nebraska. We don't buy other people's calves, feeders, or even their finished beef. This gives you the utmost assurance that your meat was raised well.

Dry-aging Matters

Our beef is Dry-aged two weeks at a local USDA-inspected facility. This process takes extra time and results in less final product but its worth it in tenderness and flavor.

You'll pay top dollar for dry-aged beef in the store...if you can even find it.

This beef is started later and finished longer than industry beef,  sizzles great on the grill, and its taste is unbeatable.

How Your Eggs are Raised

Pastured

These Queens of the Prairie spend much the year on pasture.  They enjoy free range while having the security of a locked coop at night.

Hand Gathered

Eggs are collected daily.  They are then washed and refrigerated.  You will get a variety of colored eggs.

Easy Pickup

Eggs are sold by the basket and delivered to a McCook location weekly.

Order Nebraska Beef

At Heritage Acres, we ranch with a regenerative philosophy you can be proud to support.  Since our beef is artisan, extra care and attention have been given to the finishing process.  But this also means quantities are limited. Our 14-day dry-aged beef is treated well, corn-finished long, and sizzles great on the grill.
